Ann Minch-Debtor’s Revolt
Sunday, November 29th, 2009As was mentioned in the last column, Ann Minch and her Debtor’s Revolt (www.debtorsrevoltnow.com) continues to gain momentum. She recently was on a radio show with Ralph Evans of the Sovereign Economist (www.sovereign-economist.com) and was able to share with his audience her goals of taking on Wall Street, the politicians and the banks.
Ann has also very generously endorsed the Home Tax Guide (www.hometaxguide.com) on her site as well. She is truly committed in helping as many people as possible in her efforts to take on those who are really stealing from our nation and commiting this intergenerational theft.
If you want to get involved in a cause that is only going to get stronger, check out Ann’s site and follow her strategies to protect your family and economic well-being!
Debtors Revolt Now
Sunday, November 8th, 2009Recently, I have had the privilege of speaking with Ann Minch from California who has put together a website known as www.debtorsrevoltnow.com and is making some serious noise with her efforts! How serious? Here is Ann’s story and it is one I think you will enjoy hearing!
Recently, Ann’s interest rate on her Bank of America card was raised from 13% up to 30%! This is the same Bank of America that received huge amounts of tax payer money for a bailout. Ann tried to reach customer service at Bank of America and explain how she had never been late in her payments, had paid more than the minimum and had this account for many years in good standing.
It was all to no avail as she tried to reach them on numerous occasions to get her rate back to where she felt it should be, 13%.
Enter social media by the name of youtube and Ann really hit a home run as well as a nerve among many others who have felt they have been taken advantage of by the credit card companies. When Ann could not get any satisfaction with the customer “no” service, she posted her dilemma on youtube and, within a short period of time, it went viral! How viral did it go? Try 476,000 hits as of this writing! Lo and behold, Ann finally got someone from Bank of America to speak with her and reduce her rate back to where it was.
Ann was not finished yet as this action inspired her to set up her site at www.debtorsrevoltnow.com which is an effort to encourage others to boycott the big banks and additional Wall Street firms that have been in bed with the government and has led to many challenges for the American public. One of which is the sub-prime issue that was directly caused by government forcing banks to loan money to unqualified people (reports of this allegedly going to illegal aliens as well) that allowed the housing industry to go into a free fall along with property values.
One of the reasons for Ann’s work is to work together to reduce taxes and “starve” our tax and spend bureaucrats of the money they are literally throwing away with many of their programs. Government only consumes and truly produces very little. We need to take back our nation and stop the intergenerational theft that is taking place!
